Shimla, Jan 25 (ANI): The suspended Congress MLA from Doon, Ram Kumar Chowdhary, who is an accused in the murder of a young girl has taken oath as the member of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. Chowdhary was booked in Jyoti murder case along with four others by Panchkula police on November 22 and was evading arrest. However, speaking to media after taking oath of office as MLA Chowdhary said that he was a victim of local political conspiracy in his assembly segment. Chowdhary was administered oath by Speaker Brij Behari Lal Butail in his chamber. The Speaker informed that he was an accused, however, Court had given him permission to take oath as it was his fundamental right.
